As we start our second full week of practice, we have a few things going on this week! First and foremost, this Saturday will be our practice meet. Aubrie and the other coaches will be dividing up the team into a Blue Team and a Green Team. The purpose of the meet is to get times for all the kids and to simulate a meet against another team. The kids will only be swimming individual events - no relays. Check-in is at 7:30am on Saturday for warm-ups at the pool and the meet will start promptly at 8:30am. Secondly, we will be having a pep rally at the pool this Friday night to set up for Saturday morning and to socialize with other families. Sam Heaton has written a note below about the pep rally - plan on coming and helping set up and get to know other parents and kids on the team! Please make sure you RSVP with Sam if you want to have pizza delivered! Thirdly - It has been brought to my attention that some children are riding their bikes (motorized and unmotorized) on the gravel path in the park. Bikes tear up the gravel path and we would ask the parents to please make sure that their children understand that this is not allowed. Practices are going well and we should have a good team this year. I look forward to seeing y'all this week at practice the Pep Rally, and the Meet!
